Eriboll 4x4 camp

PortalroveR invites any 4x4 owners to a week-end of fun in the Far North.

There is a £25 fee (for camping) for each vehicle. It starts on Friday pm, and ends Monday am. If you need it, bring it !
Camping, off road frolics, road trips, beach/dune driving, fishing, and of course - the bbq and bottle party !!
Fresh water is free, you just need to have something to dilute it with !
Bonfires, sausages, stuck trucks, loads of laughs - come and join in.

Other people on hollidays so i can't but i might try to get up on sat

just too far for my mpg I'm afraid... sounds like a plan for when I've got a tdi under the bonnet if it's an annual event tthough!!

Loads of folk meet at Skiach services on Friday pm, then head on up together, or if they can't get away then, do it on Saturday.

There is no set programme for the week-end, it's what WE make it !

Part of the site is used by Land Rover as a test ground, and there are rules about ground damage in that area, if you haven't been before, I can tell you where etc, but don't worry 'cos if you have been before, you know that there are thousands of acres to get bogged on !!

The river crossing may be a problem for small/petrol vehicles depending on the state of the river. If you go to google earth and look at position 58 24'34.38n / 4 39'05.64w you will see the crossing, and the hill road. If you can't make it - I hope you can swim No, seriously, you can continue along to the end of the Loch and turn left at the junction.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Or what ever days out of those 3 you want - but the price is still the same !!!

What time does everyone meet at the skiach and is it all offroad once we are there as the disco might not be tested by then ?

Just get it through the test Steve! No need to worry about a trailer then!

He would have but he is being dragged away for an nice romantic weekend with his wife instead I will be posting photos of Eriboll to show him what he missed
