Since there is so many of us hoping to go down would it be worth getting a convoy together?

Sounds like a plan, where is a good place for everyone to meet?, big tesco`s inverness? not sure how long to get down to it so need to sort time.

ok had a look at map its about 15 min from A9 turn off so will be up a tescos at the back of 9.00am if anyone is about.

If we meet at the Inshes Tesco then we can just head down the distributor road, and turn off at the essich Roundabout. Should take approx 30-45 mins roughly (depending on roads and such) to get there. But I am not exactly sure where there is.

So asides from me and johnmcghee who else is up for a convoy?

and does anybody know where there is?

I will be at the recycling point as you enter the 24 hour tesco carpark (on the A96) at the back of 9, Blue series 3 with white hardtop.

And will discuss with whoever turns up best route. Hope to see someone there

Al

BIG THANKS to Hughie for organising this, and was really good to put names to faces. (John and Dougie)

Excellent day out in the snow with no breakages on the landie what more could you ask for.

Going to have to invest in a camera as could have got some excellent shots today. but hey ho.

What was your excuse for not turning up steve?

Fun in the snow

Post  Portalrover on Sun Dec 27, 2009 9:44 pm

Thanks to all who turned up, and a huge thanks to Fiona and Malcolm for all the work they put into the site. Great day out, and a great bunch of folk !
Sorry we didn't have the tent up, but I'm sure you understand !! We will orgainis another event soon, the Valentine run ??? Let's make this one work - big convoy to the West, night in a hotel/bar/dinner, and back home on the Sunday.
We will start a new topic for this, and you can just add your name to it.
Cheers, Hughie.
