the making of minus 2" front mounts

Hi just made the other side of my minus 2" front turrets so took some pics of my handy work
my lenth of flat bar cut up

the top plate is cut to 80mm the upright is 200mm

mark the centre of the top plate

sit the old turret on top of thre bottom plates making sure they are 70mm apart so you can mark the holes centre punch the holes
drill out the top plate to 16mm hole
weld the top plate tothe uprights
once the upright are welded bolt the bottom plates to the old turret then centre the new one on top then weld it all up
I will take more photos of the fitment of them when it stops raining lol!

Here is the fitment of the new turrets
welded a piece of bar to join the plate then painted them

lol!

No we got new timber racks and the flat bar was for spacers but they din not require them so i acquired them lol!
