Busy weekend!

Post  Roz on Wed May 27, 2009 7:10 pm

I have removed my A bar and winch bumper in order to rub them down and repaint them gloss black to match my wheels, and have also fitted a new stainless front grill to match the headlight surounds and wing vents.

I have also now changed my roof for the smooth county one with the alpine lights and sunroof.

As you can see in the last picture, I've also been busy with the discovery, I've removed the 200tdi engine for a planned transplant into my 90, hopefully to be carried out next spring.

Will add pics of the reassembled 90 front end when it's done.
anyone have a sandblaster I could borrow????

The rust and dirt from the landy you are working on must be getting into your blood and it must be land rover tea bags at work to convert you lol!

Steve, you're going to have to tell me now, 'cos I don't know... how come you've been in my shed???? And aye, they're still working on the big house, it's a pain in the backside being in the middle of a building site!

aha! I take it you were fitting plant tyres or similar? The shed would be pretty new when you were in it then, it's a great place to be on days like today!!!
